بنِيَتُ بِطُوْبِ تَجَارِب عُمْرِي

I've built with my life experiences bricks

سّوراً أصُون بِه مِن فَدَيْت

a wall to protect those whom I love

فَبُوْحِي بِمَا شِئْت وَالْلَّه إنِّي

So reveal to me whatever you want (secrets, pain), because I swear..

لِمِثْل الَّذِي يَعْتَرِيك بَنَيت

I've built it to protect you from what you are going through now

وَقُوْلِي سَأُنْصِت لَا تَبْخَلِي

Tell me and I'll listen don't be stingy (with your words)

فَقِيْرٌ أنَا بِجَوَاك ارْتَمَيْت

I'm just a poor man who is seeking a shelter in your land

حَزِنْتُ بِحُزْنِك لَمَا شَكَوْت

When you open up to me about your pain, I felt so much sorrow

كَأنّي أنَا مِن أسَاك اشْتَكَيْت

like I was the one who was complaining

بُكَى كُل شَيء حِيَالِي لَمّا

Everything inside me cried

سَمِعْتُك حَشْرِجَت لمَا بَكَيْت

when I heard your sob in your crying

تَمَنَّيْت دَمِعَك لَامَس قَلْبِي

I wish your tears touched my heart

لَعَلـّـــــي أرَوِّيه مِمَّا رَوِيَت

maybe I could quench it(i.e: my heart) as you quenched yours

وَأبْقَى لِبَوْحِك صُنْدُوْقَ سِرِّ

and I'll be a concealed safe for your secrets

وَمِنْك ابْتَدأتُ وَ فِيْك انْتَهَيْت

I've started from you and will end to you

وَلَا ضَاق صَدْرُك مِن عِلَّة

If your heart feels tense from anything

شَكَوْتُ لَظَاهَا وَ مِنْهَا اكْتَوَيْت

I'll complain about your pain and feel its burn instead of you
